Spiegelau pres. Eat Up 3 @ La Vie
Eat Up 3 was a private food tasting event that took place at La Vie Penang on the 22nd of January, 2016.
The event was presented by Spiegelau Malaysia and we invited some of our favorite Penang foodies, bloggers and Instagrammers to try Chef Weng Chia’s remarkable Japanese/French fusion cuisine.
One of the main objectives of the event was to show people what a difference a good crystal wine glass can make to any wine drinking experience and we are grateful to Spiegelau & their Malaysian distributor Chefutensile for allowing us to demonstrate this to our event attendees.
All wine for our evening was generously provided by The Wine Shop, undoubtedly Penang’s most established wine distributors and experts.
Wine we drank on the night included: Andreola ‘Verv’ Prosecco, Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, Brown Brothers The Windmill Chardonnay, Luis Felipe Edwards Gran Reserva Chardonnay, Yealand Winemakers Reserve Pinot Noir, Peter Lehmann VSV Cabernet Sauvignon and a delicious Voga Moscato.

Chilled Tofu w/ Sea Urchin, Salmon Roe, Squid Ink & Squid Consommé
